Phillip E Green

Phillip E Green is the founder and pastor of the Shepherds Christian Church and publisher of PPA Magazine, a Christian publication that has touched lives nationwide. Phil graduated from Bethel Bible Institute in Jamaica Queens,NYC (where he specialized in Christian Apologetics, Pastoral Counseling & Evangelism). Because of his soft- spoken mild demeanor and his magnetic smile, most people feel comfortable to refer to him simply as “Brother Green.” Phil grew up in the south where he watched his grandfather (an agrarian, a preacher, and a storyteller) work large vegetable gardens using only a mule, and a plow. Phil now resides in the Northeast and his latest endeavor is his blog affectionately named “Gardening With A Mule.” With his unique gift of writing and storytelling that he inherited from his grandfather, Phil hopes to touch even more people – more than he ever dreamed of touching through his magazine.
