Phillips Turner Jr

Now retired and residing in his Nashville, Tennessee, home located 4015 Hillsboro Circle, Phillips Turner Jr. managed a private law practice in Nashville for roughly 20 years. As a trial lawyer, he represented a number of prominent businesses in the region, including Jack Daniels Distillery, Opryland, and Nissan. He also handled medical malpractice cases for individual clients. Beyond his background as a trial lawyer, he gained early career experience in the legal field while working for a justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court. Phillips Turner Jr. retired in 1990.

Educated at the University of Mississippi, Phillips Turner Jr. earned his BA in 1967. He completed his law degree at Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he served as a member of the legal fraternity Phi Delta Phi.
