Phillip Zakas

A successful entrepreneur with considerable experience in the technology sector, Phillip Zakas currently works as the founder of gridskippr, a company using advanced GPS location processing algorithms he developed for mobile phones. He serves as both the chief technology officer and head of product, which enables him to oversee all productization operations of the company. During his time with gridskippr, Phillip Zakas has authored patents on advanced geolocation positioning systems and unique applications in the commercial and defense industries.

Before taking up his current responsibilities, Phillip Zakas spent several years in the strategic development division of the Redstone Advisory Group in New York. As a member of the Redstone team, he worked closely with public and private clients, helping them analyze massive communications and financial data streams in real time. He also founded Corrivo, an online news and entertainment production company that worked with clients such as CBS, ABC, Hearst and Discovery.

Mr. Zakas holds a bachelor of arts in international affairs from Georgetown University.
