I grew up in the "artsy" community of Sarasota, Florida and graduated from the Ringling College of Art and Design in 1989. After graduation I completed an internship with Walt Disney Feature Animation and......joined the Army! From 1989 until 1993 I served as illustrator and graphics specialist for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (ABN) at Ft. Campbell, KY. Yes, I am a Desert Storm Veteran! Upon leaving the service I went to work briefly at a post production studio in Pompano Beach, FL called Nitelite Studios. After a year of creating motion graphics for music videos and infomercials, my journey lead me to Tampa, Florida as illustrator for Paradigm Learning. After Paradigm it was a return to Disney animation where I stayed for 7 years working on films such as Mulan, The Emperor's New Groove, Tarzan, Lilo & Stitch, The Little Match Girl, John Henry, and Brother Bear. In 2003 Disney decided to close it's animation unit in Florida and I went freelance full time. I now reside near Tampa with my wife and son. As a freelancer I have illustrated 5 children's books, worked on three iPad apps, and can proudly say that I am the official illustrator of Stuff, mascot of the Orlando Magic NBA basketball team!
