My name is Phaedra High, which translates into "High LIght" or "Bright One" or "I have a huge name to live up to".

Shining my light on the world... I am passionate about networking and connecting people to the resources and opportunities that empower them. I'm an event coordinator/planner/consultant (contracted), small business consultant and part-owner of Colorado Urban Naturals - a social group all about everything Natural in the Denver area and beyond. We coordinate natural hair meetups, social events and more with the intent to inform people on where-to-go/what-to-use/what-to-do when it comes to maintaining natural hair in Colorado's dry climate.

I'm passionate about teaching people of all ages to swim - or, more-so - become more comfortable in the water while achieving their swim goals. I believe in working one-on-one with my clients, using their natural strengths in the water and applying them to each lesson to help them learn to swim. My goal is to open my own swim school one day, focusing on communities where drowning statistics are the highest amongst people of color.
