Phoebe Maddrell

Raised predominantly in Herefordshire (United Kingdom), Phoebe left her homeland for the first time aged 16, after being bought a flight to The Netherlands as her 16th birthday present.

From there she has travelled to and around; India, Germany, France, Cuba, Kenya, United States of America, Belgium, Greece, Spain, New Zealand, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Iceland, Austria and Poland. Totalling over 600 cities, spanning 24 countries.

Writing, taking pictures and eating is her favourite way to travel, as well as visiting authentically cultured, non-tourist areas.

In the meantime, to fund her travels, Phoebe has lived a semi-nomadic life in England, New Zealand, Australia, Iceland and France. Working for the world renowned Contrabass Shoppe, one of the oldest businesses in Australasia, an MMA gym and a rural Icelandic guest house, amongst many other things. Like a variety of self employed roles, including photography, writing and social media marketing.

Phoebe also enjoys food in every form, animals - petting, cuddling and eating, reading a variety of literature and finding friends everywhere.
