Phongme is the name of a tiny village in the eastern part of Bhutan and Gaki means happiness and peace of our country. Phongme Gaki Tours and Travels was founded by Mr.Thongay in the year of 2011 right after the privatization of Tourism in the kingdom.The pioneers of the company were the people who were trained by the government in different fields since its inception in 1974 and have contributed immensely in the development of this young industry in the country.
