No It’s a word I made up to describe the act of photography ... and then it stuck around ... If you want to say it like I say it, the ‘O’s are said soft, like in the word ‘soft’ (that was lucky), not ‘Oh’, like in ‘Photo ‘

Usually. I started taking photography ‘seriously’ (i.e. I bought a DSLR because I couldn’t do what I wanted with my Panasonic superzoom) in October 2007, at the beginning I didn’t really know what I was doing .. and I’ve tried to carry on with that theme, just making stuff up as I went along. So far, I’ve got away with it. Probably.
