Hey There! I'm Phyllis, your Inner Brand Mentor (IBM) and Chief Empowerment Officer of Phyllis Clark Coaching & Consulting, LLC.

...and I'm so glad you're here. Before you continue perusing my current business features and services, please read below to learn a little bit more about me and my work in the world. I don't want to inundate you with too many details but wanted to highlight a few things that may help you to get to know me a little better.

I'm a 29-year practitioner of the secondary and post-secondary profession, higher EDGEucation advocate, inner brand mentor and serve as the President and founder of my personal and professional development company, Phyllis Clark Coaching & Consulting, LLC,

I have a love and passion for working with women and girls through speaking, coaching, training, and writing so my company has been formed as one that partners with other individuals and organizations to foster the metamorphosis of these groups. I also serve as Associate Director for the KY Student Success Collaborative, an institutional service unit within the Council on Postsecondary Education.

My interest in wanting to know more about myself and growing my own self-confidence led me to pursue a Phd in Leadership in Higher Education at Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY. My research focuses on diminishing or eradicating the barriers women face, particularly Black high-achieving women in higher education, as a result of the phenomenon known as the impostor syndrome, a concept describing individuals, mostly women, who are marked by an inability to internalize their accomplishments and who harbor (willfully or unknowingly) a persistent fear of being exposed as a "fraud".

Why?

I'm deeply committed to this because I have suffered from the impostorism syndrome in my own personal and professional life. This can be a debilitating force from within that causes women to shrink and play small.

So thank you again for being here and I can't wait to serve and support you. Feel free to join my Brand Your Brilliance VIP community to stay updated on tips and other resources.
