Phoebe Ng

Phoebe was born in Hong Kong and began the piano at the age of five. At the age of seventeen, she was awarded music scholarship to study with James Kirby at Queenswood School. During that period, she has received a few awards including two first prizes at Watford Music Festival and LTCL diploma in piano with distinction. She has performed in masterclasses given by respected pianists like Andrei Diev. Recent concerto appearance includes Beethoven’s Fifth Piano Concerto with Stroud Symphony Orchestra in masterclass with Poom Prommachart. Phoebe is also a Chinese lutenist and has been awarded Grade 10 from Chinese National Orchestra Society. She has performed in prestigious venues in such as Steinway Hall the Hong Kong City Hall and Hong Kong Cultural Centre. She was also a prominent member of New Tune Chinese Orchestra.

She is now a third year undergraduate student at Royal College of Music, studying with Andrew Ball and jazz piano with Mike Moran. Apart from her musical studies, she is also working as a committee of Asia-Hong Kong Piano Magazine 'The Pianist' and Hong Kong International Pianists' Association.
