I am located in Vienna, Austria. Currently, I am working as a tech journalist, covering consumer electronics, software- and hardware development, internet politics and more.

I am currently employed at Der Standard, working at the technology desk since 2012.

Since I was a child I heeded interest in everything "computer", especially games. I was introduced to the internet quite early and I love to explore new technologies, to find out about their possibilities.

My journalistics skills are mostly self-taught. Once I have a passion for something, I absorb new knowledge quickly.

Over the years I have also developed a set of special skills that often come in handy. Want some viral photo checked for photoshopping? Need to find some very specific or "exotic" information on the web? I can do that. Additionally I'm aiming to expand my search territory to the dark web.

Another important field of interest of mine is politics. I'm an avid follower of current political affairs and often join social media debates, trying to chime in with a constructive approach. My stance is a liberal one and I'm very capable of providing arguments for my views.

When not working I love to spend some quality time with friends, record song covers and do other creative stuff. For example: cooking - I absolutely love experimenting with food.

To keep myself fit I regularly go (kick)boxing and practice some other sports as well. I believe maintaining some physical "punch" is important to keep your wits sharp :)
