The series follows the story of Jerome Jenkins, a former UCLA basketball phenom whose hoop dreams fly out the window after he suffers a devastating knee injury caused by a freak motorcycle accident.

The story picks up with a re-habilitated Jerome at a Lakers Pre-Draft Camp, trying to put the pieces back together and give it one last shot at making his NBA dream a reality.

This is "Entourage" on a basketball court with endless opportunties for NBA and celebrity cameos.

A boy, a ball, a basket, and a dream. That's the romantic image of a young kid pursuing the dream of playing professional hoops. But what happens when things get in the way of that dream? Jerome Jenkins could tell you. He grew up on the L.A. blacktops. Honing his game after his idol, Magic Johnson, Jerome emerged into a phenom at Inglewood High School. He had offers from all the top tier programs – Duke, UNC, Kansas, and most intriguing to him, Michigan State (Magic's alma mater). But when he gets his high school sweatheart, Sierra Taylor, pregnant, dreams of becoming the next great Spartan crumble.
