Here are 3 simple steps:

1. Mark a 30 minute slot called, "Pick up Litter" on your calendar.

2. On the date, tell your child something like this: "Let's take a walk around the neighborhood and pick up 5 pieces of litter. This will keep the local animals who try to eat litter from getting hurt."

3. Each grab a trash bag & gloves, and go find 5 pieces of litter!
