my name is Melissa Carr and I am a journalist, photographer and mother of three. Currently, I am a graduate student at Full Sail University working on my Masters in New Media Journalism.

I began working as a reporter/photographer for the Alice-Echo News while attending school at Texas A&M University. Shortly after earning my bachelor’s degree I began working as a intern for BowTie, Inc.

After completing my internship I began independently blogging and freelancing. On top of this I have been raising three young girls who are aspiring photographers themselves,

I hope to use my education and the knowledge I am receiving from Full Sail University to strengthen my online presence and improve the overall quality of the content I produce for others to enjoy.

It is my goal to continue to provide enjoyable material to share with my audience and others. Sometimes we get caught up in the fast pace of life and forget to enjoy or appreciate special moments and it is my desire to put the spotlight on these moments.
