I am a Swiss entrepreneur and executive with an engineering education. With a real-world, 13-years experience as a voluntary firefighter, I know how to stay calm and perform in extreme situations. Lateral thinking and designing creative solutions to business problems have become a second nature for me.

The industries I have been working in are Direct Marketing, Parking, Consumer Electronics and the Event Industry. After earning my Master’s degree in engineering at EPFL Lausanne, I participated in several education programs, amongst which Babson College’s Entrepreneurship Program.

By regularly embracing new roles, I broadened my skillset, allowing me to take up challenges in new industries and at new company levels. That unusually wide perspective is often being put to contribution when I am consulted on career development.

There are two things I love doing: I am passionate about building the best products and building teams that will thrive making them a reality. In my current role at Publishing Factory, I am fortunate to do both.

Throughout my professional career, I have:
■ led a company-critical, multimillion cost reduction program (cost cut 22%, quality improvement 69%)
■ been selected by the Venture Leaders program to join the Swiss national startup team
■ turned around a family-owned business, transforming 3 years of losses into sustainable profitability in less than 18 months
■ co-founded, grown and sold Tinynode, a venture active in the parking industry.
■ setup and scaled the French and Swiss subsidiaries of Parkmobile (major European mobile parking payment provider), in preparation for the sales of the company to the BMW group.
■ closed contracts of 1M+ CHF and 5M+ CHF, at two separate company, breaking existing contract value records
