Pierre Thomé de Souza

Pierre Thomé de Souza is the direct heir of Thomé de Souza, the first General Governor of Brazil (1549). He is Founder & Chairman of the Casa Thome de Souza, fraternal organization present in 34 countries and 27 Brazilian states. Graduated in Marketing Management (ESPM), he is a specialist in the formation of Fraternal Groups and is self-taught in the study and development of Concepts, Theories and Pragmatic Methodologies on Ethical Leadership, Social Marketing, Solidarity Society, Solidarity Economy and Socio-Environmental Business for the 21st century.

As social and environmental activist, his focus are in the spheres of Anthropology and Sociology, to decrease the existing gap between Intention and Realization, generating Collective Social Transformation, through the dissemination and promotion of a new Social Awareness and innovative perceptions on the bilateral performance of institutions of the Second and Third Sector, known as Sector 2.5.

For his contributions in social and dissemination, development and promotion of Ethics and Leadership in Brazil, he received the Thomé de Souza Medal of Cultural Merit, in Degree of Commander, awarded by the Federation of Academies of Arts and Letters of São Paulo.
