I studied at Stellenbosch University where I graduated with an Honors Degree in Accounting. I had given up the opportunity to do a post-graduate degree in journalism, which had been my passion and convenient distraction; I was editor of the University newspaper, Die Matie.
After completing a five year stint at PwC in Cape Town (and briefly New York), I finally went back to where it all started, joining my friend and mentor, Malan Joubert, at his startup incubator FireID in Stellenbsoch.
From helping him edit his first business plan in our dorm room, to an incubator with 5 startups in Stellenbosch, Cape Town and Santa Clara, I finally found a home for my passion: Building businesses!
