Pietro Leo
Architect and CTO in Italy
I taught at the University Computing and explained to my students that computers are based on two codes : ASCII and EBCDIC . The first is the result of a standards committee, the second was made by IBM because it had to launch the famous mainframe S/360 and the Committee didn’t came to an agreement on the new code needed. I am attracted by the desire of “making fast ” and that of ” discussing in depth ” and in general by the desire to gamble.
I work as Executive Architect at IBM, serving as IBM Italy CTO for Big Data Analytics & Watson. I supported a number of IBM medium and large accounts complex analytics & cognitive projects whose overall effort size is over 150 years/man, working both at the national and international levels.
