How to get there:

From Zugdidi take the 7:30 marshrutka to Mestia across from the "Svaneti Tower Guesthouse", near the bazaar. Before arriving in Mestia, request a stop in the town of Becho (approximately 18km before Mestia). The village of Mazeri is a beautiful 5km walk, or hitchike from Becho.
