Pilot Eric Weaver has logged extensive hours in seaplane operations, global Caravan Amphibian flights, and long-range Gulfstream missions for Fortune 100 corporate clients. His aviation career began with early experiences in rural Pennsylvania and has grown into a global path that covers the Americas, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Asia, and South America. Now a veteran business aviation pilot, his professional journey reflects both specialized seaplane operations and advanced corporate aviation.

Eric’s development as a pilot demonstrates steady growth from grassroots flying to corporate jet missions. Proficient in seaplanes, Caravan Amphibians, and complex jet operations, he continues to strengthen his expertise while mentoring new aviators. His background blends flight instruction, demonstration flying, and corporate assignments, giving him a career defined by adaptability and range.

His earliest introduction to aviation came from his family farm in Pennsylvania. His father and uncle owned a Cessna 170, which they operated from a closed paved road through the farm. This early access to flying created the foundation for Eric’s lifelong interest in aviation. In addition to aviation, he gained experience in agricultural partnerships, farm product sales, and direct-to-consumer food business efforts. After completing high school, he joined Youth with a Mission, teaching English in Hong Kong before returning to assist his family during a period of personal and business challenges. He later earned a degree in Business and Management Information Systems from Anderson University in Indiana, which provided a strong base for both entrepreneurship and aviation.

After graduation, Eric and his parents purchased a 37-room lakeside resort in Florida that included a golf course, banquet facilities, and a restaurant. He took responsibility for daily operations, weddings, and events. During this time, his passion for flying was reignited by the arrival of a seaplane. He earned a private pilot certificate and purchased a 1954 Cessna 180 on straight floats, operating it in his free time. When a 2004 hurricane destroyed the resort, Eric dedicated himself fully to aviation, expanding his qualifications with commercial, instrument, multi-engine, instructor, and multi-engine seaplane ratings.
