Pim Arends

I am an artist and art teacher, the past few years I’ve explored the common ground between my development as a painter and the artistic education of children. By teaching in the deprived areas of Rotterdam I’ve had the chance to convey my enthusiasm and play a part in the integration of children of different cultural backgrounds.

As a teacher I learned the importance of a healthy social context and structured language education. Recently I became a teacher in English for foreign languages, I’m planning to travel the world for some years so I can teach children abroad and help them towards a brighter future.
