Pinar Comezoglu is a photographer, filmmaker, and writer based in Manhattan who loves traveling around the country and world. She studied economics and government at Cornell University, and since then has been using that "very practical knowledge" to make both narrative and documentary films. In the past, she's worked as a post-production assistant on the documentary Bible Quiz. Currently, she works with Four Corners Media, where she focuses on many editing projects and help with the day-to-day. She is currently in Turkey filming her own documentary, Don't Call Me Ismail, which explores the personal identity rooted in the selection of surnames in 1930s Turkey.
