Monica earned a degree in Communication Sciences at the Universidad Intercontinental (UIC). Later she attended a post-degree as Translator-Interpreter at the Berlitz Institute. She has collaborated with several Mexican media channels such as Stereo 100, Tiempo Magazine, Epoca Magazine, among others, and published a series of poems. She also worked at two translation agencies.
She was Senior Project Consultant for Humane Society International at the Farm Animal Unit in Mexico. She is currently freelance translator, Co Founder and President of the non profit organization Gente por la Defensa Animal (GEPDA). Our Achievements: https://issuu.com/gepda

Monica has been vegetarian for the last 18 years searching now deeper into the raw food world. She has nine dogs that were starving to death when she rescued them from the streets of Mexico City. For her, the animal rights movement is a project of life and has a deep commitment with it.
