Maria Pineros-Leano

I obtained a Bachelors in psychology and a minor in Latino Latina Studies and then I obtained a Master's in Social Work. Currently, I am working on a Master's in Public Health and a PhD in Social Work. My research interests relate to mental health and obesity among minority groups in the United States. Currently, I am looking at depression among economically disadvantaged mothers during the antenatal and postnatal periods.
