I am a post-doc at MIT Media Lab. I got my Ph.D. at Purdue CS under Fulbright Ph.D. fellowship and Google Anita Borg scholarship.

I hail from Istanbul where I worked for TUBITAK UEKAE (The Turkish Research Institute of Electronics and Cryptology) as a Security Team Leader and floss developer under Pardus GNU/Linux project and as a mentor for Google Summer of Code. I also hold a MSc in Computer Engineering from Bogazici University.

When I am not coding; I like Redditing, y-combinating, playing video games and travelling. I sometimes tweet @pinguar.
