Working at both Gilligan's Seafood Restaurant and Palmetto Moon, allowed my communication and computer skills to improve. I am a Marketing major at FMU and would like to pursue a career in marketing for a sports brand.

Dealing with different customers each day, I had to conform and diversify the ways to approach and speak with each one of them. Each individuals was either looking for something specific, asking for our biggest product, or had no clue what they wanted and they needed my help to make a decision.

I had to know my products and be able to communicate them to my customers. Then I had to work the cash register or put in the food correctly while I was working. If something went wrong while checking a customer out or putting in the food, then I would be the one responsible

I enjoy dealing with people, I am easy going and easy to talk to. Getting to know new people is always a great experience, and getting to know them is even better.
