I’m a radio presenter, so talking is both my job and my default setting.

I’ve been told I’m funny, although not on purpose. Life has a habit of throwing slightly ridiculous situations my way, and I share them.

On air, I chat, tell stories, and get people involved in the kinds of questions that spark debates you didn’t expect to have. Off air, I work in marketing, making ideas happen and bringing a bit of structure to the chaos.

Alongside all that, I live with neuroendocrine cancer, which isn’t going anywhere. It’s given me a slightly different perspective on what matters, and probably added a few more stories to the collection.

I run, sometimes enthusiastically, sometimes reluctantly, volunteer in my community, and try to balance being productive with actually enjoying life with my family and friends.

Life is busy, a bit chaotic, and rarely quiet, which is just the way I like it.

In summary, I’m slightly geeky, gym inclined, Dr Pepper loyal, a reader, a TV watcher, someone who will happily talk about musicals from stage to screen at any given opportunity, and someone who believes most things are better shared, laughed about, or turned into a story.
