I'm originally from a small town in South Louisiana, lived for a sweet, luscious decade or so in New Orleans and now call Brooklyn home.

I write. In the past I've been a journalist and a publicist. I did an MFA in fiction at Sarah Lawrence College and these days I juggle writing fiction--novels, short stories, screenplays––with a career as a creative director and copy writer at an ad agency.

In my nearly nonexistent free time I collaborate with friends on everything from plays to cookbooks.

I travel whenever possible, explore New York City, read voraciously, and try to soak up as much art, culture and beauty as one person can contain.
