Pieter-Jan lives and writes music in Ghent, Belgium.

Some of his influences are Bruno Coulais, Philip Glass, Max Richter, Penguin Cafe Orchestra and Thomas J. Bergersen's Two Steps From Hell.

Previously Pieter-Jan produced a Campbell's Soup jingle for ad agency Young & Rubicam.

He likes science and science fiction and secretly hopes the urban designs of Luc and François Schuiten become real life someday.
