PJ Monego

PJ Monego studied business and management at La Salle Extension University in Chicago, Illinois. He began his technology management career in the computer systems and services industry. Since 1973, Monego has worked with many high-profile technology companies, specializing in Web-based consumer services, consumer electronics, and the growth of new e-commerce companies. PJ Monego acted as President and General Manager of the ImagiNation Network, the first multiplayer online gaming network that was sold to AT&T in 1994 and 1995. He also served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Yahoo! Inc.; in this capacity, he held responsibility for incorporating, operating, and growing the company in its early stages. PJ Monego also directed HolonTech Corporation, sat on the board of directors for Women.com Networks, Inc., and was the Chairman of the Board of Digimarc Corporation (DMRC) from 1996 to 2002 and board director until 2008.

Having achieved status as a seasoned e-commerce professional, PJ Monego went on to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer at NetChannel, Inc., and later at Voquette, Inc., and My Vision One, Inc, a start-up social media corporation. More recently, he has served as a member of the board of directors at CafePress Inc.

PJ Monego is currently the Director of California Historical Radio Society and a Managing Partner at Technology Perspective Partners LLC, where he provides board advisory services to digital media and Internet consumer service companies. He contributes his time and energy to the nonprofit organization Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, and he maintains a personal interest in electric car conversions and the restoration of pre-WWII radios.
