Paul Reynolds hails from the village of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell nestled in the English countryside. He studied at Oxford and Cambridge Colleges of Art and received a BA in Illustration before emigrating for a 20 year career in the US. In 1996 he achieved a MFA in Computer Art from School of Visual Arts, New York.
In 2009 he decided to pursue his own creations and has exhibited across the US and UK. He calls his technique ‘little dots,’ a derivation of Pointillism on the micro scale.
“I use magnifiers to see abstract surface textures and this frees my imagination to create a miniature landscape of curious shapes.”
