P. J. O'Dwyer is an award-winning author of romantic suspense and young adult.

During her research for her debut novel Relentless, she stumbled upon the controversial subject of horse slaughter. She also got to know the folks who advocate against inhumane treatment of equines.

Having a love for animals, P. J. decided to donate 10% of all sales from her literary works and handmade jewelry to horse rescues to assist in their mission of rescue, rehabilitation, and education.

However, donations are not enough. Horse rescues face an even more difficult challenge placing these horses in suitable homes.
