Paula J Jackson

Paula Jackson, a 2006 Hall of Fame Nevada Broadcasters Association Inductee an honored earned for over 25 years in the broadcast arena. Paula has a track record of working as a television (news & feature) producer/director and a promotion director in radio. Plus a creative director in the newspaper industry.

Paula has been awarded various awards throughout her career individual and as a team player.

Before embarking to Las Vegas 11 years ago, Paula a true behind the scenes person engaged with national entertainment and manufacturer cross-country programs, which open the doors to produce special event programs international.

One of her most favorable works is with 4-time Grammy legendary hip-hop rapper “MC Hammer”; she produced and directed his first music video.

In 2006, Paula co-created and co-developed, Large Vision Business Network Mixer (LVBNM Mega Mixer Expo). Now in its 7th year, LVBNM Mega Mixer Expo is a monthly mixer/expo that offers to small businesses of Clark County an educational out reach program, in need of building awareness, exposure and visibility for their business. The small business owner can now promote and market themselves at this mixer/expo for a low-cost.

In 2011 LVBNM Road Show launch at NASCAR and the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children PGA. The LVBNM Road Show is designed for small businesses to reach a mass-audience.

In 2012, Caesars Entertainment became the sponsor of “Pitch Your Business Contest” with LVBNM Mega Mixer Expo. The contest is designed to offer non-profit organizations the opportunity to exhibit at the expo on behalf of the sponsor.

Also in 2012 Paula was awarded by the Small Business Administration “2012 Minority Small Business Champion of the Year”. She shares this award with her husband-business partner Sylvester Jackson.

Paula serves as the executive secretary and a board member for the Urban Chamber of Commerce for three years. She is a graduate from Kansas Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Art & Photography and a M.A. from the University of Missouri in Communication Studies.
