My life so far... I grew up and live on an island in the middle of the Pacific where two seasons exist, sunny and rainy.

In this world, I've been as far North as British Columbia, Canada and as far South as Cairns, Australia. The Far East is my backyard having seen Japan and Okinawa, Korea and Taiwan, the PI and Singapore and the West (USA) is my playground from Hawaii to New Jersey and points in between too many to mention. I've given coins to children begging on the streets of Manila and bumped into celebrities at LAX.

I held my grandfather's hand when he passed away and I've shaken the hand of "the Greatest", Muhammad Ali as he made his way to the Thrilla in Manila.

I am the son of a Filipino immigrant father from Iloilo, Philippines and a Chamorro mother who survived the Japanese occupation of Guam in WWII. I am fiercely loyal to them and to my four siblings and their families.

I've been a gas station attendant, a dock worker, a short order cook, a TV guide delivery man and an insurance salesman.

I've served my country in the US Air Force and have held management positions in local island government before serving in my current position as a civil servant in the federal government.

I've spoken to hundreds of people at one time and a hundred times to one person. I've sung the National Anthem at events and I've won karaoke contests. I've played with bands at nightclubs and sang my children to sleep. I've ran towards a gang fight to help defend my best friends and I've fought a Supertyphoon for 6 hours to keep its fury from entering through a busted window and hurting my family...

And finally, I am blessed...

Blessed with a beautiful family... I've married my soulmate, (Brenda) who loves me no matter what... I've raised my 4 children (Brandon, Kevin, Alana and Tiffany) who are my constant source of pride...

I am blessed to welcome into my family the partners of my children - Tammie, Maria, Steve and Freddy...

And I am called Papa by the "apples of my eye", my 15 grandchildren (Amanda, Eden, Koa, Alex, Ahlleiya, Aryana, Kevin Jr., Aleah, Amelia, Aveah and Zara, Abigail, Tia, BJ and Sebastian)...

I would do anything for all of them - I would give my life...

This is MY life so far... and I am excited for what the rest of my life holds in store for me because I know it will be what I make of it... I will seize from it, every day, every experience it has to offer...

So what have you done with your life?
