Paul Kasunich - Philadelphia Professor and Former Superintendent

As part of Gwynedd Mercy University in Philadelphia, Paul Kasunich teaches graduate-level courses in the education field. He also serves as primary advisor for five doctoral students in the school's education program. In this position, he is able to share his years of experience as a school administrator for numerous school districts. From 2003 to 2006, he was the assistant principal of a high school in the Blackhawk School District of Beaver Falls, where he oversaw teacher evaluations and targeted initiatives. Paul Kasunich later went on to become superintendent of the district, overseeing the district's general operations.

Paul Kasunich earned his bachelor's degree in economics from Duquesne University in 1981 and returned to the school a decade later to earn his master's degree in education. In 1997, he again returned to Duquesne, this time for a doctoral program in educational leadership, propelling his career into the administrative roles that he has since taken on.
