Peter Ignatius Ketelaars was born on March 7, 1984 in London, Ontario to Ignatius (Ian) and Bernardine Ketelaars and is the second of four sons. He is an electrical engineering technologist for Callidus Engineering in London, Ontario. He married Jennifer Rachel Nixon on September 11, 2010. They have three children: Samuel Alexander was born on July 8, 2012, Gianna Mary Imelda was born February 12, 2015; and Teresa Angelica was born November 8, 2016.

Education
Peter attended St. Anthony's Elementary School from 1988-1998 and won the Environmental Award upon graduation. He also played on the volleyball team in grade 7 and 8.

He attended Regina Mundi High School (RMC) from 1998-2003 where he graduated with OAC and completed a co-operative education term with John's Drafting Service. He was also involved in extra curricular activities including helping out with the drama program backstage.

He was accepted to all colleges that he applied for and decided to stay in London where he attended the Architectural Technology program at Fanshawe College from 2003-2006. Working co-op semesters at CADdetails, Webster Structural Engineering, Riggs Engineering, and John's Drafting Service, he was able to obtain experience in a variety of jobs in the industry.

Professional Career
Upon graduating from Fanshawe College, Peter was hired as an engineering technologist at NA Engineering in London, Ontario in January 2007. He was mostly responsible for Arky Designs residential drafting and meeting with Arky clients in London. In March 2007 he was moved to the head office in Stratford, Ontario where he focused more on Civil (sewage and grading) and structural drafting until October 2009.

In February 2010 he was hired at Integrated Engineering as an electrical designer. With his vast knowledge of AutoCAD, he quickly became someone that his co-workers came to with questions regarding the program.

In September 2015 he took a job at Callidus Engineering where he is currently an electrical designer. With his experience as an electrical designer, he was able to take on a more intermediate roll working on a variety of building projects including office fit-ups, hospitals, warehouses,community centres, building condition assessments and retail stores.
