Pam Klepner

Oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ (ओं मणिपद्मे हूं,) is a Sanskrit mantra particularly associated with the bodhisattva of compassion. Mani means "jewel" or "bead" and Padma means "lotus flower," the sacred flower of buddhism. Buddhists repeat this mantra so as to focus their attention on these concepts.

Although I am not a particularly religious or proselytizing person, this beautiful sentiment resonates with me. I believe that in bringing light and joy into the lives of others, we bring light and joy into our own lives. The qualities I endeavor to cultivate in my life are peace, compassion and beauty.

Besides working for a living, I enjoy yoga, photography and art. I enjoy volunteering for worthy causes. These are all part of the learning process of my life.
