Patrick A. Koller

Patrick has been with Siemens Switzerland Ltd., Building Technologies Group International Headquarters since 2008. In his role as Manager Strategic Projects, he drives strategic and organizational change in Siemens Regional Companies on Divisional Level with tailored programs and initiatives, incl. Strategy Development, Corporate Development, Restructuring and Post-Merger Integrations. Among others, key track records include a successful strategic business transformation and turnaround of Siemens’ two largest countries Germany and USA, a competitive organizational re-design of Siemens China, and a successful market entry and merger of two business units in Brazil.

In his previous role as as a Project Manager and member of the innovation workforce with Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN), Business Development & Innovation, Patrick developed new business models, led disruptive innovation projects, and piloted them in the market for a following internal transfer into a Business Unit or external commercialization. As a member of NSN corporate venturing workforce, he also evaluated innovation projects for corporate funding. His responsibilities included project lead, product management, business planning, definition of marketing and communication strategy, and partner management.

Another valuable business development work experience was the development of a small enterprise telephony campaign and the joint market launch with Canada’s second largest telecommunication company.

Originally from Switzerland, Patrick has lived and worked in Germany and Canada for three years before moving back to Switzerland in 2008. He holds a MBA from the University of St. Gallen and majored in Information and Technology Management. He is married and enjoys traveling, kite surfing, snowboarding and music in his free time.
