"A Merry Heart Doeth Good Like a Medicine"

My grandfather inscribed that phrase on the mantle of our Midwestern cottage, and my grandmother and mother were huge proponents of using the mind to heal. My whole life has been an immense journey in self-healing.

My passion in college was psychology, and at my alma mater, nothing surpassed research as a tool for gaining knowledge. Combining these two driving forces, my first book–"Flying Up the Stairs! What You Need to Know About Menopausal Arthritis to Break Free"–gives insight on the research end of the equation in self-healing.

Through my books and workshops, I hope to share with others how I have used self-healing to change what happens within my life.

We all have two roads in life: on one road, you walk alone, immune to other's influence and isolated; on the other road, through introspection and outreach, you invite others along on the journey, fully present and spiritually connected.
