I am a young professional dancer, absolutely loving my ongoing adventures around London town! I originally trained as a ballet dancer, which I feel has had a massive impact on my life. Although it has given me a determination and drive that I never knew existed within me, it also left me struggling with anxiety, and a ongoing battle with depression and self hate.

Since graduating I have tried to work everyday on my self lovin'! I truly do find myself becoming a little more human as time ticks on - but as I'm only human, I often will have relapses of blackness which I have to claw my way back out of. I find it amazing and sad that a quarter of the population in the UK suffer from either anxiety or depression. However almost reassuring that I'm not alone.

I truly believe that as humans we can heal ourselves through our diet, fitness and lifestyle choices. All it takes is a little determination and focus, and the acceptance and forgiveness in ones self that it's not going to happen over night. If I fill my life with all the things I love, then the dark clouds clear and the birds will once again sing! I'm not a doctor or a psychologist, but I have learnt a lot through my own experiences and mistakes. I wanted to write this blog to share my own tips and ideas of things that have really helped me through tough times, and hopefully learn through other similar minded people also!
