Plant City Pediatrics

Open at 7:30 AM Monday through Friday, Plant City Pediatrics strives to accommodate the needs of parents and young patients alike. With a strong commitment to patient satisfaction, Dr. Timothy Williams, owner and lead provider of Plant City Pediatrics, has brought on board a staff of compassionate, knowledgeable individuals who are great with children and willing to take the time to answer questions from parents.

Due to his quality employee hiring practices, many patients have remarked favorably on the friendliness and expertise of the staff at Plant City Pediatrics, as well as on the excellence of Dr. Williams himself. In addition to an informative staff, Plant City Pediatrics offers patients and parents a wide selection of pain-free, non-invasive diagnostic tools. For evaluating the health of a very young child’s hearing, Plant City Pediatrics offers an Otoacoustic Emissions Test.

To ensure that a child’s middle ear is healthy, the staff can administer typanometry, which can detect a variety of problems including fluid and growths in the middle ear. Plant City Pediatrics also provides spirometry, which measures lung capacity and rate of inhale/exhales, and Visual Evoked Potential (VEP) tests, which detect the activity of visual pathways in the brain. Plant City Pediatrics founder Dr. Timothy Williams earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU-COM).

He completed his residency in pediatrics at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in 1993 and went on to serve his U.S. Army obligation at Ireland Army Community Hospital in Fort Knox, Kentucky. Returning to Florida in 1998, he established Plant City Pediatrics in 2002.
