13th Annual Player Networking Event

The Player Networking Event™ (PNE) was established in 2000 as a pilot program under the National Football League's (NFL) Player and Employee Development Department (now known as NFL Player Engagement). The initial designed was to provide active and former NFL players with exposure to corporations committed to (or interested in) providing off-season work experiences for players through the league's Career Transition Program.

The 13th Annual PNE will take place at the Sheraton New Orleans located at 500 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70130 on Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. In addition to featuring over 40 corporate vendors, the PNE will include (1) a pre-event brunch and learn workshop, (2) a charitable auction, (3) a wine tasting happy hour, (4) a power networking activity, and (5) a live Internet television broadcast.

Corporations interested in marketing speaking opportunities, shadowing and internships, employment, vendor supplier, franchising, philanthropic and investment opportunities to active and former players should strongly consider participating in the PNE. In addition to having large and more well-known organizations with the infrastructure to support transitioning players in various U.S markets—the PNE provides player-owned businesses with branding and marketing exposure during the event.
