Peter Cowley

Peter Cowley studied Engineering and Computer Science at Cambridge University, now lives near Cambridge and owns/runs small businesses in technology and construction. The technology businesses undertake development and manufacture of hardware – one in rugged computer products and retail security including covert cameras. Peter has spec-built several houses and refurbished many others, including a £1.7M Advice Centre . Peter has invested in several start-ups (technology, energy, biotech, security and construction), one of which was recently sold at a decent investment multiple. Peter is also a board member of the Cambridge Angels. Peter has also been involved in voluntary charity governance for over a decade – the Citizens Advice service, the British Red Cross, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation charity and a local private college. Peter is a director of the Computer Lab Ring and runs their mentoring service. More at www.petercowley.org.
