Pleasant Akinade
Graphics Designer, Web designer, and Social Media Influencer in University of Ibadan
Excellence and Purpose define my journey, and I am ready to bring these qualities to the service of our Faculty of Education.
My name is Pleasant—a graphics and web designer, social media influencer, and PR strategist—passionate about transforming systems and building a stronger, more vibrant faculty. I am not just asking for your support; I am offering you a proven solution to elevate our faculty’s image if I be your next Public Relations Officer (PRO).
As a designer with years of experience working with clients both locally and internationally, I bring to the table a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic communication skills.
My designs have consistently delivered results, earning testimonials and reviewsthat attest to my ability to meet and exceed expectations. Imagine the cost savings for our faculty when the role of a PRO doubles as an in-house graphics designer—you already have me. Why outsource when we can channel those resources to other pressing needs?
But my qualifications extend far beyond design. As a social media influencer, I’ve honed my public relations skills to perfection. My ability to craft compelling narratives and drive engagement positions me as the ideal candidate to not just represent, but amplify the faculty’s image. These skills were the reason I was invited to create and manage the first-ever WhatsApp TV in my department.
My track record speaks volumes. I’ve been called upon to join numerous PR and content creation committees across my hall, department, and faculty. These invitations were not given lightly; they were based on my demonstrated ability to deliver results and my unwavering commitment to excellence.
I also bring a deep sense of purpose to this role. I am not someone who sees the PRO position as just another political post; I see it as an avenue to serve, to work, and to build.
I am also no stranger to accountability. As a critic writer on school politics, I have fearlessly called out wrongdoings and advocated for what is right. While this has understandably earned me criticism from some, it underscores my integrity and my commitment to transparency. I believe that true leadership is not about pleasing everyone but about doing what is right for the greater good.
This is more than a campaign—it's a promise to bring expertise, dedication, and innovation to the PRO role. A promise to elevate our faculty's image and drive meaningful change.
Support me and Let's create a change in our PR system.
