Hey i ' m Shakiel Malik.

Trainer by profession and a hard core photographer by passion, I am from Kashmir and Bandipora---the name famous for "Ilm Adab & Aab" happens to be my home town. My homeland is bestowed with incredible natural beauty and that happens to be the ultimate force that drives me towards photography. Not only this, but the human harmony that goes with nature inspires me to capture all that I can with my lens.

Being a visual story teller, I am very inclined towards capturing landscapes, portraits, culture, art, people and their life. Photography is my calling, my passion and probably the one thing that may drive me insane someday. I feel photography for me is the way of getting inner peace to my soul . I see myself as a global citizen and an explorer. I enjoy exploring and capturing places which are least visited. I believe in taking the road less travelled because that is where I find the most rare work of nature.

Besides capturing, I also happen to have an upper hand in post processing of image to maintain the natural colors and making them more or less surreal. I have travelled a lot but I find Kashmir most fascinating of all the places.

For me, being able to reach a stage where I can guide people about photography is amazing. Photography is an art and I will never give up learning and imparting all the new things about it
