Pila Manivong – Born and raised in Ohio, I moved to New York in November 2009 to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a recognized Asian-American actor. This has been one of the greatest decisions of my life. The endless energy that New York thrives on also drives me and inspires me every day. Since arriving, I have been learning different technique and skills in workshops/classes, attending auditions, and meeting with casting directors. I admire the works of Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, Will Smith, and Jim Carrey. It is important for me to work efficiently and to have fun while being on set. I am easily motivated, love working with people, and extremely excited to be working in this industry! I seize every opportunity that comes my way and I view each experience as a stepping stone that brings me closer to my goals. I know what I want—therefore, no obstacle can stand in my way!
