I'm Paolo Manzo (@pmanzo70 on Twitter).

I've spent the last two decades researching and writing on emerging market politics, economics, security, and technology.

My Latin American Insider (https://paolomanzo.substack.com) covers the entire hemisphere and includes security issues, markets, and Latin American politics.

I've lived around Latin America, but my principal residence for the last 15 years has been in the continent's financial capital, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Since 2001, I've been writing about Latin America, tweeting about it since 2009, and distributing this email since December 2019.

I conduct political risk analysis and custom surveys for businesses and think tanks in emerging markets.

I work as a professional journalist for Italian and foreign media outlets, hold a Bocconi degree in economics, and a master's degree in international trade, and contribute to the Aspen Institute, Ispi, and Centro Einaudi.

I encourage you to support this magazine by paying $30 per year or $5 per month if you wish to try it.

Subscribers receive daily reports and have special access to webinars I host with other Latin American analysts.

Subscriber contributions fund this publication and enable me to collaborate with freelance journalists and analysts throughout Latin America to conduct in-depth research and gain a deeper understanding of the ground situation.

I hope you'll subscribe to my Latin American Insider and like it.
