There are three words that I would use to describe me; those words are creative, persistent, and compassionate. My interest in creativity is caused by my desire to have my own cosmetics store in the future. Not only do I want to create a booming makeup business, but I also am interested in being a worker at my cosmetics store. I have a passion for makeup and I will accomplish my goal of obtaining a cosmetology license from the Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles, California after I graduate from the Kelley School of Business. I practice creativity everyday by applying my makeup and using the right colors on my face.
The word persistent is an excellent word to describe me. I strive forward but I continue to strive forward, and when I feel like I am failing, I don't give up. An example of this is in the greatest class in the world: Finite. The word everyone hates. I will study 2 hours each day for Finite, and when the test comes, I am only a few points above average. This may be discouraging for some people, but to me, it is not. I am persistent. I try to the best of my ability, and failing is when you stop trying.
Compassion actually comes very naturally to me. I have always had a gift of being able to have sympathy for people. In High School, I volunteered at the Sterling House Nursing Home and played bingo with the residents. I built a connection with them, and my heart sought out to the ones that would only be visited by myself because their family had passed away. Another example of when I have really expressed the trait of me being passionate is when my friend and I bought Christmas gifts for a low-income student at our school. She was the sweetest girl, and she was so social. She was special in her own way with her kindness, and I wanted to do something special for her. Basically, I enjoy making others smile, but I also enjoy being there for others when no one else is.
