Greetings and Love…
My name is Antoine Mitchell. I’m also known as GHOST, which is an acronym for “God Holds Our Souls Together” and “Genocide Hinders Our Survival Tactics.” I’m a Visual Artist and Spoken Word Poet from Baton Rouge, La by way of Norwood, La.
Who am I? Well, in a nut shell I am quite complex. Let’s see…Above anything I am an Artist. I live and breathe Art. Art is my lifestyle. I aspire to look at life through the eyes of Art, no matter how difficult that can be sometimes.
I’m also a husband to a very supportive Sister-Queen by the name of Erica “Ayxa” Williams. I’m a son, a grandson, a brother, a cousin, a nephew, an uncle, and a friend. I try not to be an enemy and nowadays that has worked out rather well.
I am a seeker and promoter of knowledge and culture, which you can find throughout my Visual Art and Spoken Word Poetry. I take deep pride in Honoring my Ancestors and as I grow older, I am finding more ways to implement that in my daily life.
I am the head of PoeArtry Creative Movement, LLC.
Speaking of, check out my official Art Website www.poeartry.net if you REALLY want to get inside my complex world. On that website you can order prints of my original works, and if you see something that inspires you to want to commission me to do some personal Art, feel free to contact me at 225 933 7090 and I will help your vision become reality in a two-dimensional format of Creativity… Because with me, Creativity is a Movement.
Solidarity and Compassion.
I Love You.
Bless. Selah
