As a spoken word artist Mr. Jackson co-established the Lyrical Insurrection in January 2004, which was voted Cincinnati’s best “open mic” poetry sessions by Cincinnati Magazine, Cin-Weekly, City Beat and several Internet Blogs. June 2007 Mr. Jackson established his latest event “Full Eclipse” which showcases various talented artists such classical, jazz, neo soul musicians, local comedians and national and local poets. These two signature events captured audiences of over three thousand people, which aided in Cincinnati’s Art’s community.

As a performance artist Mr. Jackson has landed numerous roles in stage plays along with being cast in an independent film, which made its debut at the legendary “Sundance Film Festival”. Mr. Jackson other endeavors includes a featured role in the “Debunkify” anti-smoking campaign which has reached numerous television viewers through three of the largest television networks such as MTV, BET and FOX TV as well as performing in and coordinating over six hundred spoken word shows. His most recent commercial has been in the Speedway Gas Station Commercial and Big Poppas Home Entertainment Company. In the summer of 2008 Mr. Jackson continues to define himself in the arts with the Center for Holocaust and Humanity and The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center production Voices of Hope:Human Rights Since the Holocaust.

In conjunction with being a skilled writer and performance artist Mr. Jackson has launched his newest creation The “LIST” (Listen I Speak Truth). The “LIST is a spoken word artist development program with the primary focus being on Cincinnati’s youth. This program supports Cincinnati’s youth by way of, building confidence, vocabulary and overall integrity in one self. Mr. Jackson envisions The “LIST” to be the leading program in which to aid in the improvement of lives and overall skills of the next generation of artist and writers from all walks of life.
